Project Payday isn’t quite free to join - when you first sign up you’re given the option of paying for lifetime membership outright or earning activation by completing an offer. The offers will require a credit card but many of the choices simply require paying for postage to get a free item - in my case I opted for some free business cards from Vistaprint.

So, the burning question for most of you is probably, how does Project Payday provide this realistic extra income? I know it was for me.

As you might expect from the activation method, this income will come from the Get Paid To industry but it’s certainly nothing like the paid to search and paid to click programs which seem to be doing the rounds again lately. An impressive set of training articles and videos teach you how to make money from the various ‘incentivized freebie websites’ that give away consoles, consumer electronics and, in quite a few cases, cash too. I must admit I had my eyes opened to a whole new world behind those sites and a system that’s guaranteed to get you the referrals you need for those freebies.

There are three main ways Project Payday shows you how to make money.

1. Getting paid to help others get their free items.
2. Finding sites that will give you cash in place of an item, and then pay others to help you get it.
3. Pay others to help you get an item, and then sell it on Ebay.

You can also request a couple of mentors to be assigned. Mentors must be using the system successfully, so you know that you’ll get good advice.

Overall I’d say that Project Payday isn’t something that’s going to appeal to the experienced internet marketer but definitely would serve as a good way to get your feet wet if you’re just starting out. You can definitely make money with this system which could fund more ambitious projects later. Even If Internet Marketing isn’t your thing it’s a fun way to earn a little extra cash in your spare time.

As always, Tim’s writing style cuts through the fluff, straight to the meat of his subject and his humour brings a light touch to what can be a very dry subject. The book unveils the mysteries of SEO, with several action points on the way that will start the process of lifting your site through the rankings. If you prefer your information delivered on the go then you’re in luck too - an mp3 is supplied, ready for download to your iPod.

There’s much more to Lucid SEO than just a manual though. There are several unadvertised bonuses on the way to the members area you really won’t want to skip - the phone consultation with David is more than worth the asking price of the entire package on it’s own. On top of that, those with an eye for a bargain in the upsell will gain access to a private forum but, even if you pass on the OTO you’ll still get the updates planned throughout 2008.

You don’t have to take my word for this either, there are already a number of positive comments over at Marketing Product Review where the package was recently reviewed.

As always with Mike Paetzold, the entry price is incredibly good value for the goodies you’ll find inside - there’s a step by step eBook and two audio books to upload to your iPod for easy listening on the move. At $9.97 this is an absolute steal and I think it would be a bargain at even a $27 price point.

There is, of course a one time offer when you hand over your money, wouldn’t it just be so disappointing if there wasn’t a great value upsell when you sign in? Mike overdelivers here too with an email series you can add to your own autoresponders and rebranding of the links in the eBook which will help explode your profits when you promote BLF to the list it’s helping you build.

In summary, Beginners List Formula is a report no marketer should be without. It gets straight to the point with clear instructions on how to get your list built from the squeeze page right through to the back end offer. All you need to do is take action.
